Services

What we take on.

Eight things, and one we turn down. We build Shopify stores and keep them running. We do not do ads, SEO or social. We will happily work next to whoever does, and we will tell you when the thing you are calling a traffic problem is really a store problem.

Launch

Everything up to the day it goes live.

Store builds

A new store, built into the theme instead of bolted on top of it.

What is involved

We build the storefront in Liquid, as sections your team edits in the Shopify customiser. Everything lives in your theme, so there is no second system to learn and nothing you are renting from a third party just to keep the homepage working.

  • Designed in the browser, on real content
  • Sections your marketing team can edit alone
  • Product, collection, cart and checkout as one job
  • Analytics and consent working on day one

Migrations onto Shopify

From WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or whatever has been running since 2014.

What is involved

Products are the easy part. What actually goes wrong is URLs, redirects, order history and customer passwords. We map all of that first, so your search rankings come across with everything else.

  • Every URL mapped, every redirect tested
  • Products, variants, customers, order history
  • Subscriptions moved without re-charging anyone
  • A staged cutover you can roll back

Watching it closely
Ten to fourteen weeks for a migration with real order history. The build runs alongside everything else, so the day you actually switch over is one day, not a fortnight.

App stack review

Which apps stay, which go, and what that saves you.

What is involved

Most stores we open are paying for four apps that do overlapping jobs and two nobody remembers installing. We price each one against what it brings in, then write down why the survivors are there.

  • Every installed app, with its real monthly cost
  • Overlaps and leftovers flagged
  • A removal order that will not break the store
  • A written reason for each app that stays

International & multi-market

Selling into more countries without three more subscriptions.

What is involved

Shopify Markets already handles currency, routing, duties and local payment methods. We set it up properly, add translation where it is worth paying for, and remove the converter app that has been quoting one price and charging another.

  • Markets, currencies and duties at checkout
  • Translations a human can go back and fix
  • Local payment methods per region
  • One domain strategy, not five

Grow

What happens after, which is where stores quietly get slower.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Nine times out of ten, the fix is removing things.

What is involved

Shopify is rarely the reason a store is slow. Eleven apps injecting scripts into the head usually is. We measure on real phones on real connections, strip out what is not earning its load time, and fix the rest in the theme.

  • Real-device field data, not a lab score
  • Every third-party script, with a removal plan
  • Image, font and critical-CSS work in the theme
  • Before and after numbers you can hold us to

What a product page weighs as apps get added. Typical figures for a mid-size store, measured on public sites rather than taken from a client. The first row is the only one we control in the theme.

Subscriptions

Worth doing if it is the business model. Rarely worth it as a feature.

What is involved

We will tell you straight whether recurring revenue suits what you sell. If it does, we build on native selling plans where we can, so checkout stays inside Shopify and you are not trapped if you switch tools later.

  • Prepaid, flexible, swap and skip options
  • Native selling plans where the catalogue allows
  • Failed-payment recovery that actually recovers
  • A customer portal that looks like your store

Conversion work

Changes we can measure, not opinions about button colours.

What is involved

We will not promise you a conversion-rate figure, because nobody can know it in advance. What we will do is find where people drop out, suggest changes with a reason attached, and only call something a win once the numbers back it up.

  • Funnel and checkout analysis
  • A prioritised list, biggest drop-off first
  • Built in the theme, not bolted on
  • Reporting that includes the tests that failed

Looking after it

A monthly arrangement you can end whenever it stops being useful.

What is involved

Theme updates, app reviews, seasonal campaigns, and someone who already knows your store when something breaks at five on a Friday. Flat monthly, so you are not billed by the hour for our learning curve.

  • One named person who knows your store
  • A stack review every quarter
  • Campaign and seasonal build support
  • An answer inside one working day

Not sure which of these you need?

Most people are not. That is what the first week is for, and you keep what comes out of it either way.
